Why have a Personal Trainer?

In an ideal world, we’d all have a Personal Trainer! Someone that made sure we were going to stick to our plan and not cop out at the first sign of hard work, bad weather or….sshh…a hangover! We all need a little push from time to time and it’s not always that easy to achieve our goals without some support and guidance.

What will you get out of it?

It’s such hard work feeling tired, overweight, unmotivated and just generally in bad shape. Being active, through sport or any activity that improves your level of fitness, is the biggest stress reliever there is. The key is to find something you enjoy doing, something that makes you feel good, and a personal trainer you feel comfortable with that will inspire you to be the best you, that YOU can be.

I’m not saying it’s always easy at first – sometimes it hurts and sometimes it’s so hard you want to give up; but getting fitter means being happier in the long run. The key is not to think too much; it’s easy to talk yourself out of it!

Just book your training session in your diary like any other appointment – do it – moan, groan, then sit back and smile, knowing you have just achieved something really positive. You’re then on the road to good health and happiness. It won’t take you long to start feeling great, I promise.

What to expect

I train the majority of my clients outdoors in local parks and in their own homes. Some of them also come to me each week – it’s just whatever works best for you. They’re aged between 10 and 80 and here are some of the things we do…

More than 48 hours notice                                   No charge

48 hours or less                                                      50% of session charge

Less than 24 hours notice                                    100% of session charge
